UNI quality improvement programme helps staff spread the word

Unique Improvements have been appointed by the Commissioning Oldham Group to provide a quality improvement-training programme across all Oldham primary healthcare practices.

Initially, 160 people – three from each practice – will take part in the training, which focuses on improving care for COPD and CVD patients. UNI will run a collaborative for this cohort providing evidence based training and good practice along with the improvement skills to make a change in Oldham.

In addition to the training for the attendees, UNI is providing a workbook manual so that the rest of the practice can benefit from the training materials. Participants in the training will be able to access private web based forums where they can share ideas and experiences.
