RCC Awards 2017

The RCC Board wishes to acknowledge the achievements of those projects who have worked over the last 4+ years. To do this the next Change Champions Network event will be reshaped to include an awards ceremony. The awards will be taken from the case studies in the report and the winners will be chosen by a small panel of RCC Board members. The winning team in each category will win a trophy, £100 in gift vouchers and free publicity.

 

The award categories will include:

  • Volunteer led and run
  • Mental ill health
  • Dementia
  • Raising awareness
  • Spread or reach into the community
  • The future of young people
  • Support for people with addictions or vulnerability

 

The event will be held at The Val Waterhouse Centre, Grimsby from 12:30 to 2:30pm, on 13 February 2017.

Releasing Community Capacity Board Co-ordinator

VACANCY

Part – time 21 hours per week, Fixed Term to 31 August 2018. Salary £15,000 (pro rata of £25,000 plus pension, Medicash and a home working allowance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified person to support the RCC Board in delivering its aims.

This is not a developmental post and we are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in project management, successful funding applications, working with communities and working across sectors.  Only those who demonstrate this will be shortlisted.

The RCC programme has been running for four years and is going through an exciting phase of development.  It is expected that applicants will familiarise themselves with the programme before applying and you can consult the RCC website for information www.yourway-rcc.uk

Initially, the post will be hosted by Unique Improvements a social enterprise who have been leading the RCC programme for the past four years.  Over time the post will be transferred to be hosted by a local third sector organisation via the VCSE Alliance.

Commissioning Show London
